BODY PARTS

Hello everyone! I would like to share with you the new unit that we have been working on during these last weeks in the English classes: BODY PARTS . As we normally do, through different games and dynamics we have been learning a lot of vocabulary and also basic grammatical structures such as " I have..." / "Who has...?" . A VOCABULARY WHEEL... A DOMINO... A BODY PARTS SONG AT DIFFERENT SPEEDS... SLOW SPEED NORMAL SPEED A LITTLE BIT FASTER AND FASTER SUPER FAST! A BOARD GAME... A RUNNING DICTATION... A SPEAKING GAME "I HAVE.../ WHO HAS...?" THEY ARE ALL DOING GREAT!

Dia de la Pau

Hola a tots i totes! Aquesta setmana l'hem començat amb un dia important per al centre, el dia de la pau. Agrair-vos, abans de tot, la vostra col·laboració i aportacions per a Save the Children. Com ja sabeu, hem treballat diferents personatges que van lluitar per fer del món un lloc millor i hem parlat molt sobre aquests actes. Avui tocava córrer a la cursa i ha sigut molt divertit. Ho podeu veure a les imatges... Però això no és tot… Comencem aquesta setmana amb nous grups cooperatius i cercarem una proposta per dur endavant el projecte. Molt prompte us contarem notícies, però de segur que serà divertit i moooolt interessant!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

A few days before the long-awaited Halloween festivity, we got to work with the children. The first sessions we reviewed and learned new vocabulary related to Halloween. On a central sheet and by collaborative groups we draw everything we knew about Halloween (characters, elements, animals, traditions, spooky scenarios, etc.). Then, for about 3 or 4 sessions we got to work to create a shared mural with our 3rd and 5th grade classmates. We created our own haunted houses in pairs: Each couple was assigned a character and a specific Halloween object or animal. They had to draw a funny and terrifying scene at the same time with both elements and write a descriptive sentence of the created scene... ...a ghost bathing in a cauldron...a broom sticking to the full moon...a witch who drops sweets to children from the sky...a vampire with the head of an owl... The result was fantastic! They are artists! It also gave us time to make our own p umpkin to store candy before going trick or treat...
